Organic and fair trade Argan oil: produced in the heart of the Atlas mountains

The virgin argan oil used in Huilerie Emile Noël products comes from a BIOPARTENAIRE®-certified production chain in the Moroccan Atlas mountains. It provides additional income for more than 1,500 women and enables Huilerie Emile Noël to support development projects in these mountainous regions suffering from desertification.

Organic Fair TradeArgan Oil is a precious oil with a subtle fragrance reminiscent of hazelnut and almond. Its gourmet aromas enhance all culinary preparations: velvety vegetables, pasta, salads, cheeses, tartars, tajines…

Argan oil is extracted from the kernels of the argan tree, a thorny shrub found mainly in arid Moroccan regions. First cold-pressed, it is filtered to preserve its many benefits. Highly aromatic, a few drops are enough to delicately perfume a preparation.

In terms of benefits, this oil is renowned for its omega-6 and antioxidant content. It is also renowned for its nourishing, regenerating and restructuring properties for the skin, which is why it is found in so many cosmetic products. It is perfect for regenerating and nourishing dry hair and strengthening nails.

We have selected organic argan oil produced by women’s cooperatives in the village of Tazghilite (Anti-Atlas) and the Souss Massa Draa region (High Atlas).
In all, almost 1,500 women trained to crush argan kernels earn their living from this activity. This makes it possible to finance structuring, social and environmental projects: running water networks, medical care, literacy, craft training and reforestation. The development of argan trees has put a stop to deforestation and curbed the phenomenon of desertification in mountainous regions.

Deodorized Shea Butter

Shea butter has many virtues.

Anti-irritant, stimulating the upper layers of the epidermis, shea acts as a protector.

It is rich in unsaturated fatty acids, phytosterols, vitamins and, above all, unsaponifiables (around 5%), which give it an emollient and anti-inflammatory action that encourages the penetration of active ingredients such as unsaturated fats and naturally-occurring vitamins.

Very good for the skin, it nourishes it and forms a protective film that prevents dehydration.

It is especially suitable for dry, damaged skin. It protects them from the cold and bad weather.

Karate butter can be used as a lip balm. It soothes chapped lips and leaves them shiny.

It also nourishes hair. It can be used as a mask or shampoo for dry, damaged hair. Applied before swimming, it protects hair from drying out.
