0.50 per bottle of sesame oil, donated to the purchase of medicines and school supplies in Mali
Committed to helping Malian producers for 16 years, Huilerie Emile Noël has created a bottle of sesame oil with original packaging, available this summer. Every bottle purchased will donate 0.50 cents to the Emile Noël Foundation in Mali, to finance the purchase of medicines and school supplies.
Created in 2014, the Emile Noël Mali foundation strengthens and perpetuates ties between Huilerie Emile Noël and Malian producers who benefit from technical and financial support.
Sesame oil from a fair-trade organic partnership
Created in 2014 by three partners: Huilerie Emile Noël, the Office de la Haute Vallée du Niger and Malian organic sesame growers, in 2016 the Emile Noël Mali Foundation gave concrete expression to sixteen years of mobilization. Our aim now is to establish long-term production chains that comply with the principles of organic farming and fair trade. To date, the Ecocert-certified sesame industry supports 8,000 producers, 50 cooperatives and 15 full-time employees, enabling 100,000 people to earn a living from sesame growing. In addition to regular, fair revenues, this involvement has helped to improve crop quality and ensure the lasting transparency of development funds. The Emile Noël Mali Foundation continues to develop new organic and fair-trade supply chains (baobab seeds, fonio and cashew nuts).

This summer 2016, we’d like to highlight our partnership with Mali, and for this occasion we’ve created a unique bottle in the image of Mali. For every bottle of sesame oil purchased, we’ll donate €0.50 to the Emile Noël Mali Foundation to support dispensaries in the Bamako region in the purchase of medicines and school supplies.
This event will enable consumers to make a concrete commitment alongside us in this action of solidarity.
